Hi
I’m in the process of planning my hike for this summer and I’m thinking of having a layover day at one of the sites on Three Narrows. Does anyone have any opinions re how good sites H17, H18 & H19 are in terms of swimming, water access, scenic, privacy, size etc
Thanks |

Check out this site:
http://sites.google.com/site/killarneycampsites/Home
Note that the site lists the canoe sites first - Hiker Sites are far down the list. Unfortunately, none of the sites you picked are highly recommended for swimming (or are not rated). I generally agree with the swimming grades given to the various hiker campsites at that website.
I will chime in by saying the four sites where I have enjoyed swimming are:
H2, H4, H33 (roots underfoot), and the main campground. |
